Truly my soul finds rest in GOD! www.spiritualmeds.org Focusing on the Lord during times of stillness allows us to experience God as our source of rest. Reading biblical scriptures brings peace in heart to rest in Faith for HIS promises and miracles. Although there are many ways for us to assume a restful posture and experience temporary rest; the true source of spiritual rest; can only come from God’s spirit. Amen

www.spiritualmeds.org Beautiful Refreshing Sunday!
In times of stillness. I try to focus and lean deeply allowing God’s restoration power. I go back to beginning, when I didn’t try to figure it all out. Listening to worship music, reading scriptures and opening my heart up to “Let Go and Let God”.
Many great examples in scriptures in times of stillness and rest the presence and power of God is experienced. Don’t take anything for granted, even your time of rest and healing process. Ask God to speak afresh to you in your time of stillness.. You won’t be disappointed, “Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:28-29 NLT
www.spiritualmeds.org Scriptures tells us that we all need to stop and rest to truly consider HIS love, grace, and provision. While we are resting, God is still working. When we engage in resting with the HOLY SPIRIT this begins a new refreshing rhythm in our spirit, mind and body. Spiritual rest helps remind us God provides all that we need to accomplish HIS purpose in our lives; and that produces true rest and fulfillment. Spiritual rest also helps us to stop the idol of productivity. When we stop our laboring and remember seasons of rest, we can remember the true sacrifice and healing power of the cross. Remember what you have been rescued from, then celebrate the rescuer. www.spiritualmeds.org Inviting Jesus into hearts as the anchor, introduces the HOLY SPIRIT into our lives and bodies. We can place our hurts, shame and sin on the Blood of Jesus and in return, HE gives righteousness and forgiveness. The key is learning how to walk and live in greater depths through this process. Don’t just worry about something over and over again. Take a step with it. Ask yourself what is stressing you, and how can you move forward. Journal your thoughts. Psalmist King David would cry out to God by writing his prayers. Tell God you need Him. Surrender all to God to help you move forward and live in the freedom HE can only give you.
